Yep. Farcry 4 is just Farcry 3 with another setting and some upgrades. And a big downgrade. The plot is just too thin, and the main character is so shallow, although I believe that it is intentional.
The setting is beautiful of course. One of the most beautiful games I dove in.
Pagan Min is nowhere near the iconic Vaas, but this comparison between them is inevitable. Vaas made Farcry 3 be about the him when we recall the game. Pagan is most like that guy we know is there, somewhere, waiting for us to do something about him.
But in the end, all things connect. When I stopped to think about, I realized that the entire game is just a frenzy journey, bloody adventure that simply didn’t have to happen. It’s all about how savage and bloodlust Kyrat turned you. It’s all about instinct, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, bullet by bullet.
Gosh, gotta play FC3 and FC4 again. Wild experiences.
